Hello i went all out with the weathering also i was really surprised to find out it was a 2001 . the rubber band tracks were the best i have seen in a long while. the ariel is missing as i still have to take the kit home. there was a little warping in the hull. surprisingly only one mig pigment was used and that was light dust. the rest of the wathering is washes og orange brown flat brown and beige bronw vallejo colours over tamiya od1. The vehicle represents a ttank that has been left for a while. and hopefully i will put it in a dio where some tourists (soldiers or civvies) are standing on or next to it having their picture taken
the logo was hand painted on also.
Ciao
James

I like it. The weathering resembles what I've seen on some old equipment near my home. Are the headlight guards from the kit, or made by you?

Nice one. I really like the weathering! But u should use soldiers to put them on in a dio, because the MG is left end it would be more or less totally disarmed if civilians with cameras ran around there (just as an idea)
Even though quality of the SKIF kit itseld wasn't so good, it turned out really good!! Are those the rubber band tracks?

What type of soldiers would have been messing around where this was. Im not sure where it is supposed to be. Probably a ex sov country. Maybe i could do it with a cordon around it. With a sign saying warning, live ammunition.
And the track were the rubber bands. I was pleasantly surprised how the turned out.
