Not bad for a worn out, abandoned T-55. However, some of your basic construction techiniques need to be watched. There are many seam lines that should have been filled and sanded. The most noticible is the huge seam all the way around the base of the turret. This area should be smooth. There are seams on the fuel barrels and the AA MG mount as well. These are amplified with the heavy washing since they attract the wash and show up well. There is some flash on a few parts as well. There are bare brass spots on the inside of the lightguard. The left front roadwheel has a big green spot on the rubber portion that got missed in the painting too. The pole across the rear is an unditching log and should be painted to look like a tree trunk or log, not green. The right side idler wheel on the front is slid too far back and touching the 1st roadwheel. There should be space there. Lastly, the number decals on the turret are really badly silvered. They should be removed and replaced. They don't look right.
A good effort, just watch the basics.

1)then I suggest you buy some filler, and some tools, I do mine with the basics, keyfiles, scalpels, standleycutterblades, a cuttingmat, some iron 1/2mm scale measuring (can't find the word, liniear?)
sometimes I use fine auto filler from a tube, other places I use milliput, not that expensive and lasts a long time
2) with such a poor kit, one can't expect a super fit, so the cheaper the kit, usually means the more cleaning, and filling up things
3) the streaking on the turret back are somewhat oversized, try putting a small dot of oilpaint (burned sienna ) and then gently streak it down with a dry clean brush, it will leave smaller marks, that won't stop abruptly.
4) The comment give by Ginno shouldn't have provoced a somewhat angry reply from you, I don't know you like that J, ...
5)Seeing the pics (nice big pics) I can tell you that some parts look verry good, and realistic, do like me, take the thing as an exercise in weathering, I bet you learned some what to and what not to do when building this one
(I did on my Trump 55 )
well , hope to see a Tamiya, or the new Trump 62 from you then
LOL
keep modeling J

If it is just an exercise in weathering and not a serious modeling effort, you should say so in the post. With your multiple pics and then a bump, it looks like you are looking for comments on it. That is all I was providing. No need to be pissed off.
Even with the tools you have, you still need to concentrate on the basics; which include filling seams, smoothing out rough areas, hitting all the areas with paint, etc. At the least, you should pick up some filler putty, Testors or Tamiya brands go for about $2.50 a tube and last a long time.
By the way, I use the same basic tools as you do; xacto knife, emery boards for files, liquid glue, etc., etc. You don't need solvaset for the decals, just some gloss coat (future works too) underneath and then a coat of flat to seal them on. Voila, no more silvering. The tools don't make the models, but how you use them does.
It still looks good, but it could be better.

Hi! I like your work, and I have some observations:
1. Green color Looks too new
2. You do great work with rust, but at some places it looks very bright (At some photo rust looks very cool).
3 Why you do not paint Searchlight, and other lighting elements?
You models will look more realistic, if you give more time to smallest detail (nuts, bolts, slit).
Good luck in the later works
Leonid

I think some of your weathering experiments look interesting indeed James
Some other ones is maybe too loaded and a bit overscale, but anyway, experiments are...experiments
For exemple I'd like to know how you've obtained that "white stuff"...Hairspray technique?
The worst thing doesn't depend on you in my opinion...Skif T-55 is AWFUL indeed....
Cheers
