Okay, I have a tendency to build in a frenzy when I get inspired so here is my second tank. This time with the obligatory "go faster" stripes. I'm not as happy with this one as with the last one. It didn't turn out as good because of the chassis. The chassis is 1:32 scale and the tank, of course, is 1:35 but the tires look small. I think it would have been better if I had used a 1:24/1:25 chassis, but you live and learn. Thanks to Bison for the idea of using the little fuzzy dice.

hey twistedfate ....... what a suitable name........ On one hand I think to myself, what a waste of a kit...... and then when i saw the dice...... what can a person do but smile (even giggle a little). These models remind me of an old cartoon series called "wacky races"!

Outstanding Tim, I've submitted the pic of of your Leopard to the Italian Minister of Defense in order to start immediately an upgrade program of our existing Leopards to your standard.
They were so impressed by your project that they commissioned a first prototype to Oto Melara (Italian weapons manufacturer), the only one problem is the colour: they've chosen to go for a Ferrari red with go faster stripes in white and red and two tins of baked beans instead of the dice...
Ciao

Being the anal obsessive rivet counter that I can be, #:-) you would have been better off to remove the molded on shocks.
Despite that, you are clearly earning your name, Twisted. Keep up the go.., uh, just keep it up and see what happens.

It is remarkable how in view of the developments in modern psychiatry, a large part of the population continue to paint their tanks using strange shades such as olive-drab, panzer-grey etc. It is remarkable that these manifestations of insanity still continue to pollute the hobby stores and magazines....... How refreshing to see that the truth is indeed out there......

keenen - Knock'em dead man. You could mount a 120mm on passanger side sort of a self propelled gun on a Chevy frame!
How about a softskin version - a deuce and half with carpet on the ceiling, pin stripes everywhere and a mural on the canvas cover!
