Well guys, I been so busy at work, and even more busy at home with the family, I really haven't had any time to get on the computer or model. I've managed to get a little time late at night.

I wanted to submit this as a build feature as part 2 to the review I did of the Real Models conversion. If I can finish this for show in September, I might just do that.

A few quick things I can list here though right now. I didn't add much to the overall kit. I pretty much went by the conversion instructions. The only additions I added on my own was the cable conduit you see on the left and right front that the cable runs under to the head light cluster. I aslo added the two cables that run to the thermal sight. I aslo added the cables that run to the smoke poppers. I managed to scrounge a ammo can cradle from an old Hummer Photo etch fret for the weapons mount. The last extra thing I added was all those white bolt heads you see all over the place.

Questions and comments are welcomed and I will be posting more pictures later of the completed model and hopfully submit an article to go along with my review.

I was beginning to wonder what happened to Epi, haven't heard anything from you in some time, THEN I find the Campaigns forum and WOW man that is some serious amount of work you've got done here, truly amazing, kinda scares me all over again thinking about doing one of my own. Thanks for the comments guys, but wait till you see it with paint on it. Paint is done on the hull and now i am starting to work on the gear and a VC. I am probably gonna weather it also before i add the slat to it to make it easier to handle. I'll try to get some pictures up before my annual two weeks at the end of the month. I'm getting some more time back now and I also have the WWP NTC book by Bob Burik and a suprise, a WWP in Detail of the AS-90, both sent by Milo to me for review, to get done ASAP.

What did you use to simulate the bolt heads on the add on armor?

I used hex rod from Plastistruct. There are actually two different sizes. there are some Grandt Line Nuts & Bolts added to but a majority are the Plastistruct hex rod.

It was a shore to slice all those bolt heads and glue them on the model, but boy does it make a difference.

Well, I managed to get some paint and the decals on it a couple of weeks ago. I did some shading with the airbrush and added a subtle wash to it. Next will be paainting of the gear and adding it. After that, I will use MIG powders to weather it. Once that is all finished, I will get back to the slat armor and get it finished and add it.

It's coming along nicely Pete. Do you have a crew for it?

Yes I do Erik. I am going to use the TC from Warriors AAVP7 crew. I'm thinking of either ordering the set from HALO for the rear hatches or maybe the Warriors LAV-25 rear crew figure set.

The squad that will be on the ground is coming along slowly. I have 2 figures done out of 7. I will try to get some pics up of those before i leave on my annual two week training Monday, if not, when i get back.

Ahh, that will be a sweet setup. Looking forward to see it.

what type of steering does those thing have I've never seen the interior didn't have them when I was in the army got out in 98. Plus I was always light Infantry
