I was wondering if the JSU-122 tank fits the same gun as JS-2..
Would the Aber 35L69 IS-2 122mm Gun Barrel fit into the Zvezda kit ?
Is there any other JSU-122 kit than the Zvezda ?
About the BMP-2, i'm currently building the Revell version but the tracks and the main gun could be replaced, are there any sets available ?
I feel tempted to build a UN version for a change...

The Revell BMP-2 is a rebox of the older Dragon kit. Zvezda reboxed the BMP-2 as well, so any aftermarket designed for any of those kits will work on the Revell kit.

There are track and wheel sets available in resin, Modelpoint makes very neat 2A42 auto cannon barrel with mantlet. There is also co-ax PKT by them.

Dragon used to make 2 "JSU-122" kits, a ISU-122 kit #6013 and a ISU-122S/ISU-152 kit #6047, both long OOP.
The ISU-122S has a different gun mantlet than the standard ISU-122 and used the same 122mm gun tube as the IS-2.
Cheers

Yes, there were ISU-122's that used the same barrel as the IS-2. Just add the barrel and you are good. The real vehicles were made to be able to switch out the 122 and even 152 main guns if needed, although I do not think it was a easy conversion...
The Zvezda kit is rougher in detail and has very poor tracks but is more dimensionally accurate out of the box. The DML kit has better starting detail and very nice tracks, but suffers from too-small roadwheels and a "squished" hull. You need to add about 2mm all around the lip of the lower hull to get the upper hull high enough to look right. If you do not care so much about accuracy, either kit is ok OOB.
BMP-2 is more of a problem. DML's kit is the only one out there with just a lot of reboxes having been done (as stated above). To do one correctly, it needs:
New upper hull or reworked upper rear hatched (they shoudl not cant) - SP Desings
New turret - Model Point or SP Designs.
New gun barrel - Model Point
New Smoke Grenade Launchers - Model Point
New Tracks - Master Club including new sprockets and roadwheels
The newer Eduard PE set for the BMP-2 is also a must.
As you can see, you almost build a whole new kit just fixing up the DML one. But it would be a stunner when done.
(For a cheaper alternative for a Russian UN vehicle, I would recomend the Eastern Express/Alanger BMD-D.)

Thanks Sabot, George, JJumbo and Jacques !!!!!!!!!
I see...this BMP-2 is almost another kit with the AM parts.. it might be a little expensive..
The Revell kit has various paint schemes, UN, Afghan army, East germany and Russian i believe.
The Afghan is a 3 tone scheme rust-tan-green, East german is dark green and the Russian has a 3 tone too, dark grey, redd brown and dark/olive green.
I will try to find the gun barrel at least
With the JSU-122, i will get the Aber gun, looks very good, the fuel drums can be taken from a P/E set for the Tamyia's JS-2 right ?
Another little help...

On this site (1968 Prague photos), scrolling at the colour photos, 2nd row 1st column a tank full of soldiers, which tank it is ? the gun looks like a 122mm but the wheels and hull don't look like a JS tank ..
Thanks again

It's an ASU-85 belonging to the Soviet airborne forces.
