i have them and i only can they that is it waste of money to buy them. Very flat detail and the hands are bad too. Only the weapons are good. I would buy the one from masterbox or miniart. They are not modern period but good. Perhaps you could convert them to modern Infantry.For modern Russian Infantry i have read something new by PMMS. The Manufactor is MasterClub and but they looking great. Then there are the ones from tank models. But they are one of the most expensive Resin Figures you can get.

hi stefan thats the great thing about old figures i dont keep anythign apart from the torso and legs the rest gets exchanged i did it with a set of americans did a half dscent job
plus for the parkers i can buy heads from hornet.

Tank figures are simply outstanding, and they have a bunch of modern Russian (not Soviet) infantry. If you are looking for Cold War-era Soviet troops I am not sure what you should do; I agree the DML set is pretty bad. Verlinden and Hornet did a few good tank crew figures from that era, but they aren't all that easy to find now and there are only a few poses available.
