Hello,
I am looking for a kit of a MT-LB in 1/35. I know Skif bought out one in 2005, but I can't find any kit on any online shops that I can think of.
Is there any manufacturer who produces the MT-LB anymore or is it discontinued?
Is there anywhere on the 'net where I can find it?
Thanks,
Mick.

I bought that Skif MT-LB awhile back and built it, in desert sand, in the markings of the present-day Iraqi Army. I thought it was a pretty nice kit, not a shake-and-bake, but all right. The only thing I didn't like about it was, Skiff gives you four vinyl track lengths, not two. You have to staple each side's track together. Why they did this, I don't know, but it was an innovation I didn't care much for.
Anyway, I'm with Frenchy on this one. If you're going to buy an MT-LB, get the one with the ZSU-23-2 AA gun. If you build the kit without it, you're sure to find a creative use for it sooner or later, maybe mounted in the back of a technical or something.
