Hi all,
I just got the Real Models conversion named T-55A5M Hammer on the box and T-55AM2 on the site !!
Firstly, which denomination is the right one ?
Secondly, the smoke grenades dischargers are missing in the conversion. I can't find any pictures of such a tank without the SGD in my references. could it be possible that RM missed something in their conversion ?
Third, has anyone a good picture of the windsensor base at the back of the turret ?
TIA
Olivier

Hi Gary,
no smoke launchers on the "poor" instruction sheet. I have sent an email to RM to have their answer as well.
To me it's simply an omission. some scratch work in sight !

Olivier, you just gave me yet another reason to keep Real Models on my "do not buy" list of manufacturers along with AEF. Been burnt too many times...
Cheers,
Christophe

Hi Olivier,
if the Hammer,Kladivo and Bastion systems on the T-55AM2 etc are similar I hope these references are useful

I would be very interested in the quality and how this conversion fairs as your work progresses.I have been working on the CMK T-55AM2 Kladivo conversion for the Tamiya kit, which has proved interesting!
All the best October

Hi October,
thanks fro the valuable information and links.
I'm not sure as when I start this conversion. I still need to be fully sure of the version it depicts (concerning the lack of smoke launchers for instance) before before starting. Anyway, I will post my WIP.
At first look the quality of the resin and the cast is good. I won't say the same about the instructions which are quite basic with only two general black and white photos of the fully assembled model.
