This dio is based on a photo I found on SCOTT CUNNINGHAMS Armor in action site. It seems that the Abrams has ran into a old target pit. I conuslted the M-88 crew at my unit, and they said that it would take two 88's to do this the one from the rear and the other at the nose of the tank to pull the nose out . I donated this dio to a silent auction benefiting the AMERICAN CANCER SOCITEY, it sold for $75.00. I'm proud of this peace of work ,and i challenge all modlers on this site to donate just one model they have built to a charity, you'll be glad you did. Thank you, TURRETTOAD-13 OUT. p.s. thanks to sow-1 and jeepney for the help getting these posted.and heres the actual photo of the tank

Wow, Nice! As a former M1 driver, that scenario is scary! The wearand weathering on the skirts is dead on as is the chalk written Tango number... I really like the addition of the Igloo cooler in the bustle rack! Is that scratcbuilt or is there AM stuff like that available?
Great job, and glad to see it's helping a worthy cause too!

This is one great image. I like the way you have the troops.
Hows about telling a bit more of where you did the figures.
Witch M998 kit did you use? :-)

I would LOVE to ride in/on an M1 some day. But not one that hits concret bottom like this one did. Some of those boys must be missing a few teeth after going down like that.
