First attempt at PE and Testors Acryl through the airbrush. Need to do the bottom half next...
The Eduard PE set is a gem. Bare in mind this rascal is only about one third of the way complete...

Keenan, this is looking good, I did mine one year ago just OOB. and yours is much better looking than mine. Good stuff. Now keep working on it, this is one of my most favourite AFV. Maybe when the new Hummel come out, we can have a group build thingy.

Lookin' good. The PE is coming along fine. How are you managing with the small part size? The end result is looking good.

Whats the headlight wiring made of?

It is the old Dragon kit. The headlight conduit is a piece of wire from a shipping tag. As far as the folding the small parts goes, I thought my eyes were pretty good until I started on this. I have an eye Dr. appointment the 28th of May... Thanks for the feed back guys...

Looking great so far, Keenan. I will be watching this build with great interest. I've yet to try PE, and I have just picked up some Testors Acrylic paints to try out. I would be very interested in your thoughts on the paint, the thinner used, pressure settings, etc. on your experiment with them. PE has always intimidated me (it looks so fragile and hard to work with) but you seem to have it mastered already. Those fenders look spectacular.

MJ,

I am with you on the PE. I always thought it was a black art and never tried it. I had the set for the Hummel in the box with the kit for three years until I found this site and starting reading the threads. It is easier than it looks and actually a lot of fun. I'll take some pictures tonight...

As far as the Acryl goes, I asked about it and the answers just rolled in. The stuff is great. Hit the link, it goes to the Arcyl thread I started. Hope this helps.
