hi guys,
i know how much you like pics so ive posted some of my first dio. Its still a work in progress but i'll post more when their developed. Its going to be a winter scene on the eastern front, but away from the main action. I have progressed from the photos and have painted the destroyed cottage, given it a wash and started to add the little things like ammo crates and sandbags. Basically there will be two germans in the fire position to the right providing local protection, a couple of guys going over maps and a few just milling around. Let me know what you think as ive got this far with help from you all.

hey martin ........... nice start to the dio. About 2 years ago when i started, this was the most exceiting time for me, making buildings like this. I found a good website that shows how its done. maybe you might find some more tips there ....... but it looks like you have it well sorted already!

Nice start. Looks like you have a good handle on what you want to do. Take advantage of what you have here at 'The Big A', you have a wealth of knowledge and a huge array of inspiration. Poke around get ideas, search the forum, read threads. Look at the gallery. I routinely do all of these things.

Keep us posted.
