Hi,

Just a quick question:

Is it worth spending the extra money on the Revell Leopard 1 A5 kit or am I ok going with the Italeri 1A2 kit (either way they are going to be heavily converted with MLM resin)?

Thanks!

You can use the Leo 1A2 kit. You will need to buy the MLM Leo 1A5 update set. IMHO it is cheaper and as you say, it will be covered in resin so there will be no big differences.

My plan is to get the Leo 1A2 to build mine. On the Modern Canadian Vehicles forum, one guy did a build log using the Leo 1A2 and it turned out fantastic.

I concur with what Cam stated....the Italeri 1A2.....which is actually a 1A1......will work for a C2 MEXAS conversion.

You will need.....

-the Leopard C2 MEXAS armour conversion
-the Leopard C2 conversion
-the Leopard 1A5 conversion parts

.....and whatever other aftermarket items you choose to add.....PE, metal barrel/resin barrel, tracks, road wheels, accessories.
