Russian tank fans!
I need a little help with the t-34/122 tank. It is made in 1/72 by the Military wheels and its a little spartian look , i need a little help to identify the modifications and differences to the t-34/86 type.It is made from the t-34/85 i think but this is my only info about it.
I found two links for this vehicle :
http://www.primeportal.net/tanks/tim_roberts/t-34_122_egypt/
http://forum.valka.cz/viewtopic.php/p/120389#120389
Any help is wellcomed !

Hi
The modifications are as detailed in the links you mention.
The T34/85 hull is unchanged, apart from the raised front mudguards peculiar to many Egyptian T34/85.
I don't have any more information to give you sorry, I just took the photos on Prime Portal, I didn't measure the tank.
Good luck
Tim

I found a t-55 kit , and has a "starfish" pattern wheel. Can i use it for this vehicle ? I looked the picture and i think it`s a same wheel as in the 122.

Hi
The wheel from the T55 looks very alike the T34 starfish wheel, but it has a wider rim & tyre, and the holes in the raised ribs of the T34 wheel are bigger.
You could get away with using them though as in 1/35 the width difference is only about 1mm each wheel
Best Wishes
Tim

What does this window used for ?
Does it have covered with glass or just was it opened ? It seems it`s has several layers of steel plates.

I don't know Karoly, it is many years since I took those photos, I don't think there was glass there, but it looks like there was in the photo, anyway the slot is for the sighting binoculour to look through.
That is my photograph, there are many more on Prime Portal.
Best Wishes
Tim
