Hi to all:
This will be my first post on this great forum. It's a M4A4T used by Israel during the 50's.
I'm using a DML M4A4 that I had laying around for some years and other bits from either the "spare" box or scratched.
The major problems with the M4A4 were solved (or minimized; basically I've shortened the lower hull and reshaped the turret right side and rear).
Here are some pictures:
Some corrections to the rear hull were made
And the painting process started:
I hope to post more photos soon.
Cheers

I've used Vallejo Model Air Olive Drab, mixed with a bit of satin varnish.

Thank you for your kind words.
The .50 is from Academy, with pe details from an Eduard set (I had it on the PE leftover box). The barrel was made by turning a metal rod of 1.2mm on an electric drill and sand it to a subtle conic profile and I had a small tube on the end of the barrel.

The TC cupola (as is the loader hatch) is a resin copy of one from Academy that a friend of mine made some time ago. The casting has a few problems, but nothing that some putty and plastic card can't cure!

You're off to an excellent start. I agree on the .50, superb job on it. I like the fact that you apparently made the pericope guards from wire rather than using PE ones, which never loo right to me.
Hope to see more soon.

Here's a little update!
I started a simple base for it. There are some photos, from the mid 50's, that show these vehicles on parade, during the celebrations of the Independence day. These photos are the inspiration for the setup.
The regstration number and the bridging weight limit were airbrushed using PE Templates and the 7th Arm. Brig. badge was handbrushed.
I hope you like it.
Cheers

Presently I'm quite busy, but I'll try to write something as soon as I can.
Not much as been done in the last couple of months (not much spare time for models nowadays), but here are some photos of the model with painted details and complete base.
I hope you like it!

Nice, that 50cal is really nice. Encourages me to go the extra mile on some of mine. Amazing what can be done with some simple kit parts and a bit of PE.
Great job!

Here are some photos of the painted crew. They were painted using Vallejo acrylics.
I still have to add some weathering to the tank, but it will be kept to a bare minimal.
Thanks for all comments and interest.

After a long, long time without working on this model, I completed it this last weekend. Not much has been done since the last update - I just added some subtle dusting and not much more.
Here are some photos:
I hope you like it!
