Here are some pictures of my DAK Semovente just before weathering. Started working on this one Saturday afternoon and I just put the markings on it this morning. The kit is really a joy to build and the only real shortcoming are the tracks.
Makings are for a DAK commandeered Semovente. I was thinking of finishing it as a German Semovente in the Italian theatre but I was not up to doing any camo this time. What do you all think?

Good base, Bombshell. I would suggest making the exhausts not look as if they were painted like the rest of the vehicle. These were unpainted metal that would discolor and slightly oxidize even in desert conditions. A look at the b & w pic on this website will give you an idea of the contrast:
