i have in the past had a intrest in the russian t-60 tank. its nick names was "the coffin for two brothers." it had a 20mm and 7.62 light tank. i have been searching for a good kit to build. i have bought in the past the zevzda and marquette kits but they differ greatly and are crude to say the least. the parts are poor quality plastic and the molds are left over from the 80's (or 70's) there seems to be no western manufactures that make it. does any one have any opinion on what maker makes a superior kit? marquette is far superior to the zvezda but still, very low quality.
one thing i was intrested in was the romanian conversion of the t-60 to a self propelled gun. it was a 60mm or larger. and way heavily modified in a factory. i have seen it done once, but the builder gave not hint as to what was involved or what parts he used, or the maker of the kit was. any ideas?
thanks a ton

There is a techmod kit that is pretty good, and includes a very large photoetch fret.

The Romanian conversion to which you refer is a TACAM T-60, with an ex-Soviet F-22 76.2mm divisional gun in an open marder-like casemate.
