My Iraqi T-55 Engima is just about done...just needs a flat coat and pastels done to it. I also need to scratch a searchlight lens for the main searchlight.

Great weathering. The overall shots are nice, the closeups REALLY show it off.
I like this kit a lot! The wash and weathering are great.
The more I looked the more I saw and the more I liked it. Great attention to finish detail.

Very great job. Now there's something I like outside WWII US armor! Keep it up.

Great job on an unusual subject. Like everyone else I love the weld lines and the weathering. What kit (kits?) is that?

This is an incredible job. You have a great eye for detail. The welds look awesome. Is this a conversion or a Kit? Who is the manufacturer?

Thanks for the comments guys. The kits used are the New Tamiya T-55 and the Cromwell Models Enigma conversion kit. The only welds I can take credit for are the ones on the Turret counterweight where it joins the Turret, the rest are from the conversion kit.
For the weathering...I used Tamiya Flat brown to outline everything and then filled it in with Tamiya Buff for the sand color. I then made up a filter of 2 different red/brown colors from Humbrol paint and a filter of a green color from Humbrol. The wash was done with Burnt or Raw Sienna. I added the chip marks with Vallejo paints...using browns or red colors for the rust chips and Soviet green for the green. The Tracks are from Fruili, dipped in PCB etchant, which is a good replacement for Blacken-it then some MIG Pigments Vietnam dirt applied to them with water then some sand paper to bring the bare metal look out.
I've been wanting to do this vehicle since 1992 or so and the lack of a good T-55 and conversion kit was a major turn off for not starting the project sooner. I was in heaven when Tamiya came out with the T-55 (bought 4 of them ) and then Cromwell came out with the Enigma uparmor set. I've been collecting photos of the vehicle for years now...I've been taking photos of it every year at APG when I goto AMPS Nationals in Harve de Grace. They are posted over on Full Metal Jacket if anyone wants to check them out.
