Thank you Lars and Darryl for your motivating feedback!
Now the whole oil-dot procedure was applied on the tank. Some little touch ups are still necessary while looking at the pics.
Feedback is very apprecaited

Hi A.W.
this sIG looks till this step very nice.
But I think, the oil dots weathering on the superstructure roof looks a little overdone.
It looks like a very faded whitewash.
Just my opinion...
Keep it coming...!

Looks great A.W. Nice job with the oils, but can I make a little suggestion, tone it down a bit with a dark filter. The filter will help darken it a little and also blend it all together. Other than that it looks awsome.

Thanks for the comment Nils and for the tipp Rob. I applied one blue filter.
After a blue filter:
Should I apply one more? A darker one?

Looks really good, AW. I would apply a final (very) thin wash fx. dark brown or black to tie everything in.
However, that said it looks very good as it is.

Looks better A.W. It will all blend together now with the washes like Jesper said. Do you apply pin washes with oils? She will look awsome for sure when the dirt and dusts are applied. Looking foward to some more progress pics.

Thanks Jesper and Rob for your tipps! Very useful!
This is just a little update: like suggested I first applied a dark filter, then applied a thin black-brown wash, which went a little bit wrong... it lightened things. The panel lines became a lighter brown than the oil color was mixed. Did someone already had a problem like this? Should I apply a darker wash with the oils?
And I brushed some scratches on the sides with Vallejo German Grey.
Here you go with the pics:
Scratches on both sides, to much?!
After a dark filter
and after the wash with dark-browon oils... what happend? perhaps it's the light I took the pic...
I have to paint the wheels and tools, so I'll take again some pics at daylight to compare them.
Thanks everybody for looking and taking part in this build log!

Hey A.W.
I hate when that happens. It usually happens on dark colors to me. What I do to avoid this now is to apply the thinner that I use with oils as a filter to wet the surface before applying the wash, and before filters too. When the wash or filter starts to dry, I dab a dampened clothe or large soft bristled brush to help blend the oils and avoid the stained look.
The scratches look good, just the right amount.
Hope I could help with that problem.

It could be that you have made a too thick overall wash. Overall washes shouldn't be as thick a a pinwash. I don't know it sure, but it looks like the wash went down on the sides. There are very wide rainmarks on the side, that's why.

I hope next time my washes are getting better with your useful tipps and comments, Rob and Lars!
Now I finished assembling the wheels, tracks (it seems one link got lost...) and little stuff. Dusted the whole tank up with flat earth and buff and recieved a pigment treatment.
I don't like the color of the track should have been a much darker color. What next?
Comments very welcome!
I wish all of you a very happy new year, that the plastic power be with you!

Overall situation looks nice, but as you mentioned tracks are bit too rusty looking. Also the box on engine deck and those spare wheels have some red color on them, what is that?

Hello ThumoasH, thanks for your comment.
I'll try to get a better track color next time. The spare wheels and box the box interior should be in a red oxide primer. This is what I saw on other models and I thought it gives a nice touch. The box is going to be closed or at least half open, so you won't see much of the interior.
I try to get some time fo finish the model and make some final shots.
Regards,
Aenea

Here are the final pics of my second build. I hope you enjoy the work of a beginner so i kept the number of pictures short.
Thanks everyone who popped in my build log and left a comment. This was very motivating!
Regards
Aenea Wasmer
PS: It was very difficult to get some good shots with my new lamp and my girlfriends 1 billion-super-mega-giga-pixel cam, but I hope you see the essential.

Looks really good Aenea, the weathering turned out very nice for what we can see on the small pics. What's next on the workbench?

Blimey, your second build and that good? That is truly awesome. However I still complain about the red wheel, you shouldn't have painted it with primer!

The blue filters look incredible with panzer gray, blue really makes it look like cold steel. I found personally that when I am satisfied but think I should do a little more ; that is the time to leave it alone so that I dont get carried away. Very good work , Jim r.

Hei guys,
thank you all for your kind comments!
@ Tim: That's nice if I could inspire you with my painting
@ Tuomas: Well, tastes are different PG is Panzer Grey.
@ Jon: Tracks are difficult, next time is going to be better (I hope so)
@ Jim: That's right, good situation to stop on your work. And not make it worse...
Regards,
A. W.
