Good job on such an old and frustrating kit that Tamiya really should have deleted years ago or at least re-tooled i also bought the same kit myself thinking it would be great when finished until i read reviews about how bad the kit is . I recently traded it to my brother Anthony who's planning on spruceing it up using spares collected from various other kits(Dragon/Italeri/ and Tamiya's Panther G's) once again the finished kit looks fab

Wayne,
I think this is the Tamiya kit I built in about '77 or '78 when I was in High School. At the time it was a decent intermediate kit for a young modeller to develop his skills on. I added spackle zimmerit, extra detail to the jack, brackets, engine screens, wires to light, streched sprue antenna, weathering, paint chips, rust, etc. i added crewmen, one out the turret back hatch getting an apple from a bucket on the engine deck, and added the tank to a diorama driving down a road with a few german footsoldiers following. I did scratch a decent bombed out house from balsa wood strips and roof tiles formed from plaster of paris. The window actually was constructed like a 1:1 scale window and I added thin plastic "glass" that was broken out. Trees from roots and other natural foiledge.
Now it's gone, in the rubbish bin when my parents cleaned out my old room years ago. Sure wish I had pictures of it, at least...
