Great piece of work David. Love the weathering. Gotta get me on of those KV2's.

Nicely done David. I too, have to admit a soft spot for this "big ugly"
Seeing yours makes me want to start on mine! (ah, add it to the list of things to do next)
Will we be seeing your KV in a diorama setting? It's crying out for one!
Cheers,
Charles

Very nice job on the weathering, but the mud on the undercarriage is spectacular! How did you achieve that?

Thanks for the comments guys.
Grant the mud effect on the undercarage was simply acheived by dipping a dry rough brush into the pigment jar and then tapping the brush with my finger over the desired area building it up with differnt colours then once it looks right i set the pigments there with some lighter fluid or mineral terpintine.
Hope that helps.

I have never seen such realistic weathering on a tank. Great work mate!!
I hate to break it to you David, but KV2s pretty much never had a slogan on the turret. I had that drilled into my head by some Russian Armor experts when I did mine.
Still, its a brilliant job David.
