Hi All

I've just put the final pigments on my AFV Club M3A3 Stuart V.

The kit it self was great and I'm looking forward to get myself a AFV club M5

I hope you like it
Comments are welcome

Nice work, I like the small touches such as the chalked on markings. I can still see what looks like the carrier film for the transfers (decals) on the sides though - did you use a coat varnish under and over them?

The weathering is subtle, but still works - overall good job well done!

Thanks for all the kind words,

For the wood effects on the tools I used vallejo buff as a first layer and oil paint burn sierra on top. With a soft brush you can get a fading effect. when you brush the oil paint "away" in the direction of the tools.

The kit has been painted with Tamiya acrylics, At base plane OD. But after I had put on the decals I decided to light it up. That explains the dark color around the decals.

Hi Martin. Really nice stuart. Nice finish and weathering also.
I feel it could do with a small base or figures or stowage (or all 3) to add some character, life and scale to the model.

That really is a nice kit. You did a great job on everything.

How were the grousers? I heard they are a bit of a pain to put together.

Thanks for sharing

Hey Martin,
Good job on your Stuart V, I like the weathering on the lower hull..
Just one minor "nit pick", IIRC, shouldn't there be some wiring attached to the smoke grenade launchers ??
Cheers
