I will take some pictures later, ´cause it still raining in this wet country a light is very poor.

Raining in County Clare? What a surprise?

Your LWS looks good and I look forward to seeing it finished. Will you bring it to the Irish Model Soldier Society Show in Dublin in May?

Hi Pat,
I am definitely coming to Dublin to see the show, but my kits are still too faraway from being shown there. Lets say, next year, may be? I wish to improve my working skills until then. I hope to see there some of your nice dioramas?

Unfortunately I am still waiting for some filters and pigment I ordered from England, so there is no progress yet. I hope they are here on Monday, so I might have finished the most in following days. Some pictures will appear then.

Some more pictures today, body is done, and I will finish it with the tracks and the rope bumpers next week, as I have decided not to use resin bumper, which does not fit well, but to make my own.

The paintjob looks real cool! I do think you're using a bit too much rust.

Thank you, Lars,
you are right, I tried to follow the picture from the box cover and the idea that the vehicle spent a lot of time in water, even salty one, so I suppose the rust became very easy, mainly on the lower parts. Some of that will be hiden under bumper anyway
Another thing are the pictures, the real painting look a bit diferent, and when finished, I will take the final pictures outside to get better result and closer details. I am just puting on some pictures af my Br 52 after filters and washes, but the same story, there is not much to see at the pictures, but if you look at the model, darker washes seem to be much deeper than pictures show. I am going to start some simple things now, just to improve my painting technique anyway, I have mentioned I had washes etc. never done before, and every comment here helps. Thank you again.

Great progress you've got there! Like how your interior and camo pattern turned out, you've done well with it.

Thanks for sharing your work. Cheers -

Another small update today, I finished the rope bumpers and have put it on already, but that will need some weathering, to get it looking more realistic.

My wife was doing a big cleaning upstairs today and then she came to me and said I should have started to build my kits. I guess she was right. Good thing is that she had missed about 10 kits under bed. However, she is very understanding

Yeah, James, this reminds me, I built first wokable track from kit, I painted it by base color and used rust pigment with fixer from Mig, then I left it for a few days, and when I came back to finish, the track just broke apart, that was like done from sugar. I had to get a new one, so I choose metal track from Friulmodel. That came out very well like you can see and I will pick their metal track for all my kits in the future, if they available. Good experience and highly recommended.

She came out really cool Libor. The rope bumpers look real. I find the paint scheme very interesting, and complicated, you pulled it off nicely. A very nice looking model.

Thank you, guys,
I cut off a piece of rope from my wife´s clotheshorse, untwisted and made to this appearance. I had resin one from lionroar, but it did not fit well, however it looked goog too. And another thing I missed, but there is also available a PE set from Aber for this kit, small one, but handy, if anyone wants to build this kit, and I think it would fit on Hobby Boss too.

Spectacular build, that's for sure. And you can't help but wondering why anyone would field such an outlandish thing... great job, thanks for posting.
