I am looking to do my 1:35 Tamiya T55 as a Soviet Guards vehicle. I would like to do it in about 1962-63 based in Northern Germany.
I am having trouble finding information on markings and color schemes for T55's from that period. Does anyone know of any good reference sites for this. I have checked out Armoured Acorn and can't seem to find what I need. Also does anyone know of any decal sheets that would apply for this time?
I would also like to keep the kit as OOB as possible. Are there any changes I need to make to the Kit. I know this time period is rather early in the T55's development so I am hoping that there is not much to do.
Thanks for any and all help,
Cam

Hi
actually there were not anything special in those 55s
color - ordinary Soviet color of that period.
guard units were having only guard signs which were usually drawn on a turret or on a searchlight surface
numbers - white color on the turret sides
Good luck
