You won't see the ejector pin marks when the top of the hull is on
so I left them as they were

So far so good mate.
Looks like there is a gap on the left side firewall for the engine compartment, or am I seeing things?

its the photo mate im sure of it is it the wall between the crew compatmentand the rear wall?

there is a gap between the end of the top half of the hull and the firewal but you cannot see it when the m20 compartment on the top is on

hope that helps mate

Yes, that's the area. It only in the photos without the top on that you see it. Wasn't sure if you spotted that.

You need to pull it together with masking tape or clamps as you can see this area with the hull top on.

I'm doing mine as a WWII Free French M20. Not sure exactly which decals yet though.

James,

Sorry take so long to get back to you on that gap.
My M8 doesn't have it, I put the engine compartment in 6 months after the orignal build as an "after thought."
Oh well, figured you might like to know.
Still looks good and it will disappear after everything buttoned up on it.

Nice build, looks pretty darn good. Curious dilema though, do choose between a Bastogne or a Vietnam version. Wonder how many differences there were between the two, that's a long time period for the same vehicle.

Happy painting! Cheers -

Thanks Tj the main differences i can gather are the M20 in vietnam had roadwheels on the front and would of look really rusty

The Bastone M20 would have snow chains on and have a winter white wash with paint
