G'day all,
Just a bit of work I have been doing on the side.
This is the first cast from the mould.
Any comments would be appreciated.

You even got the dimples in the mag, brilliant.
The Irish defence forces use the styer so I can say that it realy does look the real thing.
Just wondering how you would paint the semi transpearent plastic mag?
Have to say it again Excellent detail !

Thanks for the reply guys.
Pawel, your best bet is trial and error. Most rubber and resin buisness have help sheets that you can order along with the product. As there are quite a lot of mould types, it would depend on what you want to cast ect.
Yep, about 3, maybe 4 different types.
Cheers Paul. I noticed a couple of things that need to be fixed up on it.
Thanks Tim.
Dunno yet mate. Maybe paint the mag with a bronze and then wash it with a varnish tinted with green?
Cheers Jason

Awesome Jase!! Another fantastic product that i dont doubt will soon once again be draining my wallet...
Only thing id pick is the Picatinny rail looks slightly out of scale with only eight ridges. Should be about twenty.
And dont forget to add a NAD and maybe a Surefire Torch while you are doing the Optics. Id like to see the standard one, as well as Elcan, Aimpoint Comp M2 and ACOG. Ive seen a few EoTech's around as well.
Ive been very keen for some modernized F88's for ages!
Oh... and some loose magazines would be awesome as well!!

Cheers Ray,
I'm too am not that happy about the rail. Or the Cocking handle for that matter.
The photos is a bit bright, but the long slots on the recever group are also there as well as the shell ejection port blanking plate.
Do you think I need to add the single shot lock out button?
Cheers Jason

Nah mate i wouldnt bother with that. Its almost always not engaged and out of sight anyway. You would need to flatten out the bottom of the trigger to put it on there as well. Im guessing most modellers would think its a bubble from the casting process and file it off anyway!
I cant really see the cocking handle but it looks fine to me. The GLA looks awesome!
You going to do some new Carbines with the rails as well?
