I'm trying something a little different for a change, a romanian tank.
The Romanian R-2 Tacam ( the acronym TACAM meaning Tun Anticar cu Afet Mobil, translating to mobile antitank gun ).
Brief history:
Czechoslovakia exported 126 LT vz 35 units to Romania. Twenty R-2s were fitted with the Soviet 76.2 mm AT Gun. These were used as tank destroyers. The R-2 is the Romanian term for the Skoda S.IIa (LT vz 35).The 1st served at Stalingrad and was practically wiped out. In early 1943 Germany re-equipped the formation with 50 PzKpfw 38(t).
Designer : Ministry of Army Endowment

Sounds like an interesting project John can't wait to see the build up i'll be watching this with great interest. Is it going to be a OOB or are you planning to do any scratch-building or Mods?

I didn't know they made skoda back then. But I'm not sure if this the right place to post this so I'm sorry if I posted it in the wrong place.
For the purpose why I was posting here is that my dad has a 1964 Skoda convertable. The color is black everything is still from the factory.New never used, I think it has only a few miles on it.He got it for payment for a job he did, so he made out like a bandit.

Looks interesting.
What do you get with the kit in the way of interior detail in the open fighting compartment area. I can see from the photographs you get the gun detail, what about drivers seat, transmission, anything of that nature?

The Skoda Works were one of the main benefits of Germany's land grab in Czechoslovakia in 1938. The Germans immediately began putting that stuff into service for themselves since it was considered some of the best pre-war armor available.

thanks James
I understand at 3/4 a.m my photo skills aren't working at full capacity..eheheh
It wasn't a fun build, the fitting, the gun, the suspension and the tracks were all little headaches.
Decals were ok, PE parts not bad.
