Andy, great job on the LVT. The interior looks fantastic.
Looking forward to see more

Nice build Andy! How did you do that MERDC-scheme? I need to do one myself on an M60A1, in European spring colours...
Great piece of hardware you're showing us, John. Its good to see something out of the ordinary every once in a while!

Done with my entry!!!
Its the old Monogram M-48 "Patton Tank" and Im not really sure if its in 1/35 or 1/32 scale cause Monogram always seems to be out of whack when it comes to their model scales
Built straight from the box with very few additions and corrections made due to time constraints. All you rivet counters will surely enjoy nitpicking out on the wrong things about this model so have fun All I did was to make it a little more decent and presentable. Sorry about the shiny pics, the model is painted in flat dark olive, but it was really sunny outside when i photographed it.
The lousiest thing is the decals which were so old I had to "rescue" it with Microset decal film and Solvaset but they still came out thick even after finishing with Future and Testors dullcoat
Overall it was a fun build on a very old kit, hope its good enough for the campaign

John,
Nice work on the Herc, I had forgotten over the years how good, if basic, it is. It was a big hit with me in the late '50's.
You are tempting me into a 35th Ajax!

I actually build a small kit over the last three weeks -since I'm moving to England, almost everything was packed up already. (Wanted to start my Tamiya T-55 w/ interior, but I won't be able to touch it for a while now.)
It's a fuel truck based on a Zil base from a German manufacturer in 1/72. It was god-awful. (I positioned the kit so that it's not noticeable, but it's actually a lowrider: the left wheel is 2 mm in the air... This kit taught me humility: anybody can build a good kit, only very good modelers can build a bad one. And if you complain about instructions of the DML kits, try this one's... I actually had to check the Trumpeter kit's to make sure I put everything where it was supposed to be. And the spare wheel does not fit behind the cab, either... I should have worked a lot more on this, scratching, correcting, but I did not have the time (or the will); so here it is.
Sorry for the quality of the photos; the kit is small (about as big az an 1/144 Karl), and my "real" macro setup is already in boxes, so all I had was the small Cannon.

You have really gotten me thinking and reseaching now.

Hi,
Here’s some progress from my side: Camo is finished and so is the paint chipping. Next step: gloss coat, decals and so on… .
I hope you like it – constructive feedback will be appreciated.

Nice work, Andrzej.
I think you could add more light chips(lighter shade of base coat) around the deep one in few spots.

Thanks Marcin,
I've done that (chips in base color's color) on my Pz IV for Blitzkrieg II campaign, and I was not too happy with the effect... it looks like a Christmas tree... It will be covered with more weathering so it will not hurt eyes as it does righ now, but I did not feel too convinced to try this with this model.
And by the way... I have no idea which color is the base one when it comes to soviet armor...
I'm happy to see your progress. Model looks quite interesting. Maybe there is more in modern armor models than I thought .

Hi Everyone!
Here is my build for this campaign, 'Stalin's Diplomat'.
This is Zvezda's 1/35 T-34/85 with 2007 moulded on the sprues. Some of it is really good, like the texture on the turret, but other bits are woeful and require lots of trimming etc to fit. One of the highlights were the two decals which went on beautifully and conformed to the texture with no help from Micro Sol!

Hay all was thinking about entering this a biber AVLB just have a question about painting? when did Germany adopt the 3 tone NATO camo pattern on there vehicles? as the instructions show several 3 tone options and one plane green version from 1980 so i wondered witch would be most suitable?

Is it too late to enter this campaign with my 1/35 DML JSU-152 during the Korean conflict?
