What Brit. tanks were sent to Russia and when (1940/41 etc)??
Which models are avalible from which company ?
Matildas , Valentines ,Churchills (III or IV ?) , Grants and what mark of Sherman ? Thought I'd try something different than T-34s .

Matilda II, Valentine Mk III-XI (including many Canadian built variants), Churchill Mk III.
US Lend Lease consisted of M3 Lee and M4A2 Shermans, both 75 mm and 76 mm versions. Some M4A2E8 with the HVSS suspension were used in the campaign against Japan in August, 1945.
At present, in 1/35th, the only Matilda is Tamiya's old kit from the 1970's, but ICM is promising an all-new version this year.
The Valentine is poorly represented by the Russian kit available in various boxes, usually Maquette (only one set of molds for the hull, and an early and late turret were designed, but these have been offered by several companies, past and present, including Dragon--the Dragon boxings included better tracks). May be offered now by Alanger. Eduard photoetch will substantially improve the kit.
Churchill Mk III is available from AFV Club in a beautiful, brand new offering. They also have a separate set of nice workable tracks.
M4A2 Shermans are well-represented by Dragon, with five variants (some boxed as Sherman III, the British designation). Any can represent a Soviet vehicle, but only the 76 mm version includes Russian markings in the box.

Hey Jim,
Here's the news page from PMMS with that ICM Matilda IV that's apparently in the works.

To add to what others have said:
Matildas and Valentines were sent as early as the winter of 1941.
Tetrarchs were available in 1942. Not that anyone actually wanted them
Churchill MK II and IV were sent in 1942 and 43; Fifth Guards Tank Army had some at Kursk.
The M3 Grant is a US tank and was never sent to the USSR.
All Shermans were M4A2. There was a very small number sent in the spring of 1943. Most were sent in 1944-45.
Universal carriers were sent, not sure when....

Right now obviously the best kits available are the DML M4A2s and the AFV Club Churchill MK III. Hopefully the Matilda situation will be improving soon. It's just wrong that there isn't a good Valentine kit.
