I need this measure taken from an unmodified Tamiya T-72, because Dragon/Zvezda/Revell offerings are way too short:
It is the hull roof, from the glacis end to the turbocompressor grill plate beginning. This is what I've already made:
I think I made it a little longer, it is exactly 13.6 cm long (my self-made hull) so I need to correct this, now that it can be made, I think the problem is between the turret ring and the driver's hatch. I want that measure to compare it and correct it if mine is longer, so I can use the razor saw. Hope you can help me. Thanks a bunch in advance. Best regards.

Hmmm so the measure is correct...Then I'll keep scratchbuilding my upper hull. Thanks for the measure. Best regards.
EDIT: I don't know why, but something tells me that the correct length should be around 13.4... Anyone can confirm this before I use the razor saw?. Thanks in advance.

Hi José!
Sorry this comes so late. My hull matches Christian´s and your measure. Exactly 13,6cm. Measure taken from Tamiya T-72 hull.
Best regards,
Andreas

OK, thanks for your time Christian and Andreas, It seems that I gave it the correct length, so I'll resume my build shortly. Best regards.

Would measurements of the actual vehicle be helpful to you?

I think they'll work, now that I can correct it if it is wrong, I haven't placed the fenders, so it can be done... If you know the actual length, please tell me. Best regards.
