For those that have been following my postings, I've finally finished my first Tiger 1 (I'm trying to finish as many builds before the arrival of our first child in July ) This kit is Dragon's 3-in-one # 6406. Excuse the quality of the photos, the lighting and my abilities as a photographer does not do the build justice. As always, all feedback be it positive or negative is always encouraged. Enjoy and thanks for watching!!

That was my original plan .. even bought the aftermarket add-on from cavalier (but didn't have the stomach to cut and sand the details from the kit where the sheets would be glued on top). I'll do it later down the road when I've gained more exp with my builds.

Hermann your tiger looks really nice, one thing I noticed though, was that the spare tracks look pretty rusted up.but the tank it self looks new. I would imagine that both would show the same amount of weathering or close to it. I'm certainly not an expert on this so please do'nt take this as a criticisim. Keep up the good work!!

Hi there Hermann,
Well done with the build, looking great. I really like the rust effect you have achieved and the wooden parts look great too. I know what you mean about the zimmerit, I have just used the atak set after putting it off for a long time and it wasn't that bad. So good luck when you get round to using yours.
Cheers, Jim.

Frank , I agree with your feedback ..I did manage to tone down the rust on the spare tracks. I did weather the tiger a bit but the lighting and my photography skills didn't pick up the dust and dot wash on the paint job. As for the main tracks, it's not rust, but trying to simulate dirt and dust. Thanks for everyone's replies and feedback.

A really nice looking Tiger Hermann, the wooden tool handle look very convincing. The subtle weathering looks really good.

Nice Tiger Hermann i love the paint job it's a shame you haven't put the zimmerit on but i suppose you could always go back to it at a later juncture

Hi Hermann! It does look good (even without the glorious paste). A real y sound clean build and silky paintjob. If you are thinking about zimmerit for a latter build, just gives me a shout and I'll see if I can help! This looks the part though doesn't it eh?
Great Job... Phil
