Can you give some info about the Gustav 84mm in the bed... did you build it from scratch?

Carl Gustav is taken from Trumpeter's 00325 JGSDF Type 89 IFV kit. It's very poor quality, I had to improve it. This is how it looked before painting (number 6):

Number 44 - M1035 HMMWV Soft-Top Ambulance of Mexican army. A liitle bit "free interpretation". Base - Italeri. Wheels, seats, mirrors and rear tailgate - Tamiya. Front bumper, B pillar and stretchers - Academy. Stretcher and roof construction, also a roof itself - Plastruct plastic rods, wire and paper.

Model definitelly goes to the back row. I'm not happy with the roof. But I'm very happy I've got finally model of this version, in an interesting camouflage, and from country, from which I had no model earlier.

Upper stretcher shelf movable.

Awesome!

I think one of the cooler things is seeing how much better and better your builds get with each Humvee!

I tried, but there's no cure for this sickness

I don't know... But maybe it's better than I think of it myself... I tried to make it not so tightly stretched, hopefully there are many M1035's photos with such roof. Maybe one day I'll get used to it

I see you're becoming a fan of Meng too Kuba! That gun does look nice...and being Yemeni is quite topical at the moment.

Do you have a reference photo for the M1114 EOD build?

Thanks Mates

Yes, this Meng gun was a very big pleasure to build. Quite a lot pieces to join (almost 100), but great designed and moulded.

From Concord Publications (7518) 'Iraq insurgency, US Army armored vehicles in action Part 1'. My model will be only inspired by this photo - it'll have only SINCGARS antennas and I'll add CIP panels.

This model was quite near to finish, hidden in the box deep in my closet. I decided to make myself to finish it.

Czech M1114 Frag 5 from Provincial Reconstruction Team (PRT) Logar, Afghanistan. Base kit is of course Bronco's CB35092, with excellent SKP 105 conversion set. Plus some bits from here and there. No specified real vehicle, just many ideas copied from many photos.

My 48th Humvee, my last one for... ever? I don't know, I just have no fun with modelling at all. Taking long (loooooooooong) break.

Fools day was on the 1st of April not 4th...
Who are you trying to fool? Us the modellers? Kuba be serious...we are all like you. This kind of crap you can tell to your partner not us!
you should know by now that being a modeler is like being an alcoholic. Just accept the fact that you can't stop and carry on mate.

Hi Kuba - thanks for posting another great build! Your collection is a great reference catalog - both of excellent model building, and examples of variants of the truck.

Glad to see another post, but I understand your sentiment - who knows, maybe another build will catch your attention and it will again be fun. Should/when you decide to get building again - no doubt, many of us will be pleased to watch.

Cheers
Nick

Very nice, definitely one of your best Humvees. It doesn't look like you're not having fun...

BTW, what's that white round thing on the hood?
