I was very lucky to fing this kit in an English online shop, and it arrived yesterday. I have started building already, and the chassis is almost done. The kit seems to be very nice detailed, however, I will add some extras by myself. Air hoses and braking system will be my next step. Some pictures here
This is gonna be another bit of my German WWII train, comments and ideas most welcome. More can be seen at my website:

Yet another wonderful project you've got going there Libor can't wait to see how good this one turns out

Hi Libor. One thing to think about while you are building these wagons .... the gap between Dragon wheels is not as big as that between Trumpeters wheels. Therefore you will need to keep the Dragon wheels as far apart as possible on their axles, so they will sit on Trumpeter tracks. Im assuming of course you are making a large diorama to incorporate all these models, and will use Trumpeter tracks because of availability!!

Thanks for your comments, guys. Very good observation, Frank, I had found out that Trumpeterīs tracks come out 1,5mm narrower than they are supposed to be, so I have not glued the wheels on axles. Baluardīs wagons are different story, their metal axles are useless, and I will have to make my own ones. That is why I have not any progress made yet, I am still waiting for rods and PE parts needed for the others. The good thing is, that this gondola is a perfect guide to deal with them well. So far it looks that my train is gonna be pretty long

Thanks, Milvehfan,
I really like this kit, enjoying work on it.
There is just one full coupling in the kit, second is provided like a hook only. Available pictures I had checked show always full coupling at both sides of the cars, and two air hoses as well. There is just one at each side manufactured by Dragon. I have made second full coupling and the hose-holders needed. I need 2 more air hose flanges for this model and many more for all Balduar wagons. I will make a silicon mould next week and cast them in resin. Thatīs why I have just one glued on the left side, with small lever added.
I will use soft plastic with a kind of connectors for the hoses to allow me to join the cars together by realistic way.
Thanks for looking and your comments, guys.

Thank you, gothicgeek!
I finished the painting and a few coats of varnish, time for decals has come now and heavy weathering after another varnish coat then. I want this car loaded with coal or ballast.
Thanks for looking, your comments are most appreciated.

I will apply heavy weathering, the car will be loaded with coal or ballast, dirty and dusty. This car becomes a part of German WWII train, diorama I am working at. It is actually large project, 6 wagons and a steam locomotive with some buildings and more adds, figures etc. A military vehicle might be loaded on flat car too(this part is my build for Stop, look and listen campaign). However this is again just a part of the big diorama planned, WWII German military depot, which will contain more tracks, coal yard, engine house, with a few other locomotives and wagons, 7 cars German armored train, Leopold railroad gun, even Dora, well, a huge thing what will keep me busy for longer time. Finally I want every bit involved in to be brought to the maximum detail and realistic appearance. Iīd say, that is enough for an explanation, back to work now.

I applied the decals.
I am a bit confused about the dates shown on decals, years 1949 and 1951, first one should be when the car was reweighed, second one when the brakes were checked, as far as I know, these dates are always about chesks passed, not expected. I could not find any more informations about that, so I am going to change years fo 1940. Anyway, would anyone here know something more about it?
