Looks great, nice to see an Abrams in NATO three-tone. It makes such a difference to the look of a vehicle.

There is nothing more beautiful (tank wise) than the Abrams. Personally i think there is just a bit more stowage then neccissary, but thats my personal opinion. How did you weather the Lee and Humber?

Stefan,
All look good!
What is the hole in the center of the rear plate on the Lee? A missing part?
For the stowage on the Abrams - the crew normally do not place items on top of the stowage bins on the turret sides. That way they can easily access them (oil and lube containers and other items inside).
It looks like the taillight guard (tube) on the right rear of the hull is crooked. It should be sticking out with the tube centerline pretty close to horizontal.
The M1A1 needs some weathering. Will it be an OIF deployed tank or one in Europe?
Keep up the great work!

Thanks for your kind comments!
The Abrams is a WIP, I’ll get to the weathering after adding the stowage (the stowage in pic 2 is just a test). Thanks for the input on that Jeff! It’ll be an OIF vehicle.
The Lee was built and modified as per the article of Steve Zaloga in MilMod vol.36 no. 9. The hole in the back plate can be seen on several photos of the Lee, but I can’t really say what it’s for (maybe to start up the engine by hand?). Weathering was done with MIG pigments added straight from the jar.
The Humber was pre-shaded with the airbrush and weathered with a wash made with MIG pigments.

Yep a starter hole on the Rear plate.
Not bad indeed.
I like the Stowage on it.
Those lights on the Rear right should be in Black I think.
Lee I am talking about.

Welcome to Armorama Stefan! Hope you'll post more here, you've got some great models there. Like the texturing on the Lee, came out well. Your paint job on the Abrams is great! Nice blending of the camo colors, perfect airbrush work. Little too much stowage I think as well, but hey, all is not lost if you're just experimenting for that 'look'.
Thanks for sharing mate! Keep at it! Cheers!
