I'm back from Spring break and here's what I'm going to be working on. I am trying to do a Panzer III in North Africa, and want to heavily weather it. Here's what I have so far.
Eventually, I plan to use Mig African earth pigment to make the vehicle look dusty. If anyone has suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks

I'll tag onto that question. How did you do that fantastic weathering job?
Looks great.
Thanks

Not bad so far. Maybe tone down the weathering just a little? I'm one of those cranks who thinks most of us tend to way over do it with the chips and rust.
Also, be careful of the visible gloss from the decal film. If it's not blended in with the rest of the finish it can really spoil an otherwise well done model.
Good luck!
Mark

long overdue update lol Last quarter was busy for me so I haven't worked on this till lately. I'm currently finishing up weathering the hull and am about to do the turret. I also toned down the paint chips a little. Here's what I have so far. I also lost a grab iron on the turret, so I'm going to get some wire and make a replacement soon.

Nice work, Philip. The Pz. III looks well worn and battered.
Looking forward to see it finished

Complete... for now. I still need to make out of wire the grab iron I lost and buy the grilles, but that will come later. I really enjoyed this build and will probably make another in the near future. I'll try to bring an airbrush next time, as well as some oil paints.
