After the war, German Vehicles were used by countries other than Germany.
Ex. Syria used Panzer IVs after the war, and even into the Arab-Israeli wars.
build a diorama showing a Panzer in use with another country.
You must make a peice of german armor from (this includes half tracks/ armored cars.)
Bulgaria,
Yugoslavia,
Finland,
Egypt,
Spain,
Syria,
Poland,
Switzerland, (g-13 Hetzer variant.)
Sweden,
Czechoslovakia, (OT-810 variant of sdkfz 251 counts.)
Jordan,
Turkey,
Hungary,
France,
Slovakia,
Norway,
Well, That's my campaign idea. can someone make a ribbon?

Hi
Interesting idea for a campaign. When are you looking at starting & finishing as I'm interested but have a few build's on the go at the moment.

Now that is a very interesting idea. How about the French Panther rumored to have ended up in Indochina!

Excellent idea, Erik. I think I will go for one of the Bulgarian panzers. Militaria of Poland just released a book on that subject.

Nice Idea. I know the French used a few Panthers But did the use them in Veitnam Doug? I would love to Know Those Finnish Stugs and Pz IV had a great camo paint job. I've seen the Syrian Pz IV and the huge haul of German tanks found ,used as pill boxes in Hungary. Dont know much about the rest? Have to do a little digging, see what I find. Cheers Geraint

How about allowing export panzers from war time also? Finnish stugs/IVs had much cooler camos during ww2 than post war.

Hi Geraint,
The story goes that the French, fearing deployment of Soviet JS-2 tanks to Indochina, send a single Panther to the theatre for evaluation purposes. It broke down quickly and the French sent in a force of M36 tank destroyers to counter the threat. Some sources say the Panther was shipped back, others that it remained. Years later, the public affairs officer at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Bob Lessels, stated he actually saw the tank while flying fire missions in Vietnam. Skeptics believe Mr. Lessels saw an M36, but he was actually very knowledgeable about tanks. If you want to read more about the mysterious pink Panther, I highly recommend these two threads over on Missing Lynx:

http://www.network54.com/Forum/47207/message/997059952/Panthers+in+IndoChina-
In addition to the Panther, the French sent some highly modified Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. D halftracks to the theatre. French records support this claim and at least one photograph exists of a 251 HT in Vietnam. I am still looking for that photo.
I love the idea of this campaign. There must be some very interesting paint scheme possibilities for such vehicles.

That's a French translation of the "Tigerfiebel", the german "quick read" manual for Tiger crews. The same existed for the Panther.
Spielbergers "Panther" book has a french report on the Panther tank reprinted. Very complete listing both good and bad points in a very neutral tone. And reads like "I have just test-driven the latest Mustang model" from it's style.
