Bug River here we come!
This is the DML Tauchpanzer III ausf H with aber PE, Judio barrel, and Friultracks. For them that had been kind enough to check out this, knew the mishap I had with the tracks (namely, being too saggy)
This is corrected and finished version, with pastel weathering to duplicate a tauchpanzer that had been driven through muds, and dusts

Dave:
Looks very well done!! The mud/weeds sticking to the suspension area is dead on for realism---very very authentic looking.
Nice sharp pics also!
"Da Panzer Master" has still got it!!! Congrats.

Nice work :-) The grass & mud stuck to the track made it more realistic.
Just to clear my doubt ..........what is your tank base colour ?

I think the decals/tranfers on the turret came out very well, especially the bear. Dry rubs or waterslide? Very cool either way.

Hey Dave another nice job you did there...A couple of things I noticed are theat there is no mud on the sides of the hull ,just on the wheels ...Some of the places you do have mud are the places where the mud would come off first..ie:the sprocket teeth and the Idler in the back ..these get cleaned off usually quite fast because of the contact with the tracks..Looks good anyway!!..The other thing I noticed is the pastells are very heaving on flat surfaces but hardly any at all on vertical surfaces...You are right that there should be more but a little more on the front plate and turret sides might help blend it all together..Your kit makes me want to take out that half finished PanzerIII L I have above my desk ...maybe next on my list!!

Wow, nice tank.
What is the mud? And did you airbrush the dust effect or is that pastels?

Hello Guys thanks for your kind words. to answer a few questions here.
1. The weathering, the weathering is done mostly with airbrush, and pastels, for the running gear, I mixed pastels with thinner and static grass just brush on. I should do more on the hulls. It seems that next time I should make the mix before the installation of wheels. Lesson learnt.
2. the wood bean is painted by first airbrush a mix of tan and black color. then heavily washed with burnt sienna.
Thank you again for all the kind words.

Ola Lord Davidus.
Sorry that I post this late
Great looking Tauchpanzer you have there dude. I like it. I see that you have fixed the really heavy sag of the tracks. Great job too on the weathering of your vehicle. Seems that those pastels work out really well.. Think I have to try that out myself too. About the mud on the tracks. The fenders and mudguards are dirty with mud but the sparetracks on the front of your vehicle are still clean while they relatively hang low on the front. But that is just a nitpick. Great looking vehicle and i like to see your next project
