This is an old kit I have made in my younger years (more than 20 years ago...) It was a hasegawa kit with a SdKfz 7 with AA 3.7cm Flak.
Only the Flak will be rebuild here, cause it's gonna be a part of a diorama with my Opel Blitz...
On the first picture you see the Flak as it was, before I started this evening...
The second Picture shows a part that is cut off, and the replacement part I made.
Here it's clear why some parts "have" to be scratched...
The rest of the pictures show the Flak as it is at this moment, still a lot to do, I know
So, here the pics:
Comments are more than welcome, and if anyone has info or pics from a 3.7 Flak, feel free to post them
Grtz,

I'm impressed, do you have very tiny fingers?!
I would suggest just doing a web search to find photos, you might have to plough through a lot, but you will find something that way.
There is this very detailed set of photos, but it doesn't really look like yours, even if you ignore the shield - not sure how much simplicaction may have been done for that scale, or it might be possible that there is just a wide variety of mounts. http://www.primeportal.net/artillery/yuri_pasholok/3.7_cm_flak_43/

Hi Firstcircle,
Thanx for the link, but I can't use it for this Flak...
What you have found is a Flak 3.7 cm 43, while my model is a Flak 3.7 cm 36/37.
I believe the last numbers are the year in wich it has been developed..
So there are some diferences...
But again, thanx for sharing
And no, I don't have very tiny fingers , a lot is done with patience and tweezers
Grtz,

Thanx Firstcircle,
This is much better
But don't worry, I know it's very hard to find info of this flak.
Someone on another forum, who helped looking for info about this Flak, has found that the Flak I like to make is a 3.7cm/36 early version.
Now that this is cleared out, I will be able to continue with the build
C-Ya'll soon
Grtz,

Hi all,
After the rescue of the Blitz, I spend some time on the Flak
Not much to say about it, just some pics
Before todays changes:
After:
I have changed the hand wheels, cause I did'nt like them...

Here's a small update...
Gonna be the last build update, unless one of you guys sees something I have forgotten....
Some pics of the works:
The base got some extra detail:
the second seat:
then the third and last seat:
as last piece I had to make the visor:
So, hopefully nothing forgotten, so this Flak can be thrown in the paintjarr....
Reactions are welcome,
Complaints somewhere else

Great work. I like how in every update there is a little less grey and a bit more crisp white styrene.
It is going to look great with paint on it.

I wish, I had fine hands to build such small things or detail them.
greetings...

And yes, I have noticed there some spots who are not completely covered...but this is not visible in realtime, and will be fixed later on...

It is nothing short of astounding what some of you people do in this small scale. Superb craftsmanship and attention to detail. Can't say enough about it.

Beautiful resurrection of this old piece. At this rate they may soon come to put you in a padded room. At the very least you'll soon be cross-eyed.

Beyond, I watched your radio truck build and now this. What are you going to do for an encore, build a 1/72 radio that actually works! Really great job.

Your patience must be endless mate. I have a Hasegawa Sd.Kfz7/2 with a 37mm gun .
I will be happy if I make the 1/3 of your work on the gun when I build it.
Gongratulations.

The "actual" images (from august) look very good!
I also have 2 small model-kits for which I try to scratch some parts and machines.
greetings...
