I saw on the Great Models site that they are taking pre-orders for this kit. How soon before it is released? I did a pre-order on Aoshima's 350 Myoko about 3 months ago and understand I still have about 6 weeks to 2 more months to wait.

Supposedly, it will be out in July in Asia.

Given prior experience, prominent Asian E-stores should begin selling the kit by mid August latest.

Trumpeter is quite aggressive with their new releases and they are usually "on time" with their estimated release dates. The T-62 is one of their main item in 2009 and is close to full fledge production. Asia will get it mid to late next month while Europe and the States may take a bit longer.

Pretty much any of the Asian manufactures end up getting it out to the Asian Retailers about a month before we see it in North America. Just he nature of the beast when the retailer is down the street from the manufacturer, and don't have to literally wait on the "slow boat from China".

I don't care if it ever makes to US for the SRP imposed by the importer HJL is already taking pre-orders on this kit, so I tihnk it's only matter of few weeks when this kit arrives to companies like hobby easy and lucky model.

I agree George - I'll be picking mine up at Hobby Easy for sure. I just noticed Daniel has the Hobby Boss Chinese AIFV in stock now and only 16.00 USD!
I am eager for this kit to be released It looks like it might be a bday present (8-22) for myself.

You just made my day Gaoyue!
Probably this question is asked before but what type of tracks will it have? Vinyl or lenght to length?
Just curious - I will buy the T62 twice anyway! Well done on the alu barrel -> good addition.

Looks great GAOYUE!
Thanks for the update.
Are you sure Trumpete will continue with the rubber tires? For modelers it's not really a usefull extra.
I also noticed that the mount for the gunner's night sight might make the sight sit a bit too low.

Not rubber tires, just black plastic, which like AFV's T-34

We're talking about the TRP00376 kit here but does anyone have any info on the TRP00377 ? GM shows it as pre-order with no price or description. Guess I'll have to order both . . .

French and German distributors have announced it as an October release. Price around 25 Euros.
