Does anyone make Soviet-style tanker helmets in 1/35 that would fit onto bare resin heads e.g. the Hornet heads?
I have some with the heads, but was hoping to save some work with the Dremel hollowing them out, as I want to make some African (black) tankers for a Chadian or Somali T-55.
I'm not a sculptor, so making my own onto bare heads isn't really an option.

Hi
Wouldn't Mig's Arab tankers complete figures do at a pinch. I haven't studied them closely, just remembering them off the top of my head as available.

Perhaps not.
It sounds a bit barbaric but rather than try all the hollowing out of the helmet to maybe fit an African head inside why not just cut the African face off the head and glue it to the other one once you've removed it's face ?The helmet forms a nice demarcation line.

Miniart has some tank helmets in their tank crew sets. Most are 3 pieces , helmet and 2 ear flaps . Trumpeter has a set of 6 soft plastic helmets in a couple of their Russian figure sets. Hope this helps. Jim

Thanks for the feedback, chaps.
Pat - the TANK option looks like it should do the job. Thanks for the link, I'll get on it!
