I cant believe its been that long since I last built a model. This is all OOB since I wanted to get back in slowly. Made by Italeri the Water tank truck # 201 I thought would be an easy build.( Always was a Tamaya guy) I ran into more hurdles than I had hoped. I was not overly impressed. Im sure its part me since its been so long. Im just about at the point of painting with only minor sanding and filling to be completed. I feel like a little kid about to try a new toy. The Aztec 4709 being that toy! Its amazing how I feel I need to produce a decent final version after seeing the amazing work from so many here. So with no further doodoo..skiidoo? ado. Fire away

Looks good.
I've never builtr that kit, but those old Testors Italeri kits could be a bear, especially while aligning the chassis.
Welcome back to the hobby, good luck with the airbrush!!!!

Clean building PvtParts. Just a curiosity: are the wheels glued or you can take them apart for painting? Usually I prefer to have them separated because it's easier to paint them...

Looks good to me, remember we are our own worst critics always. If you aren't completely happy with the end result try to look at it like a learning experience and that you'll get better very quickly after that. Keep us updated on your progress with this one......Happy modeling !

Looks very good!

Some Italeri kits tend to be 'bendy' my 'M-977 HEMTT' kit is going to need a bodyshop to get some parts fitted. Waiting to see it painted.
