After few years of pause in modelling I decided to go back to building armour. A kit what I'd like to finish first is Leopard C2. But my problem is lack of C6 machine guns (one which was provided in Maple Leaf conversion was damaged). Do you know if any aftermarket company produces it in 1/35 scale?
Thanks in advance,
Michal

The C6 is the Canadian version of the FN MAG (a.k.a. US M240 and British GPMG).
Dragon has 2 of them in theri Modern Machine Gun set by their European designation of L7A2. There is also one in Dragon's Modern Marines (OIF) as an M240.

Any kit with a MAG derivative in it, with the exception of US Army M240Bs, should be okay. The M240B's heat shield would be incorrect, but this is lacking on all other MAG subvariants, including the M240G used by the USMC and the British L7 series.

As has already been stated, Dragon is your best bet for 1:35 C6 GPMG's. The 'Modern Machine Gun' set contains the British L7A1, which has a slightly different butt-stock and a different barrel change handle (and the mount for the sustained fire sight isn't present on most C6's). The "Israeli Paratrooper" set includes one MAG-58, which is identical in appearance to the C6.
I'm not sure of the availability of either of those sets. Perhaps your best bet would really be to get in touch with Milo!
Cheers - Dan

Another source for FN MAG 58s is Legend's set #LF1160 (4 per set)

Hi,
I decided to show you current status of my C2 (MGs from Miloslav are dedicated for it). I've just finished apllying washes and started working with pastels. Let me know if you have any suggestions- I was out of hobby several years. So I have to recall many techniques.

Looks good Michal.....that is maybe a bit too much rust on the dozer blade and the call sign number '3' sticks out a lot.

Nice work, Michal, but where did the Dozer blade come from?

Jason- thanks for your suggestions. During this weekend I will try to correct colours of dozer blade and the number. Recceboy gave me an advice what I should change and I will do it.
Jon- dozer blade is produced by Mouse House from Australia.
Have a nice weekend
