Would it be accurate to put Modelkasten's SK9 tracks on a JS-3? Or should i use SK14? SK9 has a guide horn on each link, where SK14 has a horn on every other link.
Thankyou.

The split link track with center guides only on alternating full links were a wartime expedient, and disappeared pretty soon afterward.

Photos indicate that ealry JS-3s in 1945/46 often carried split-link tracks with guide teeth on every second link (only the non-split links). Later vehicles typically carried tracks with a guide tooth on each link. The teeth were often perforated with a lightening hole through the center of each tooh.
It looks like SK-14 gives you the right teeth with the perforations, but also gives you the split links which were rare after 1945/46.

I wanted to build the JS-3 cerca 1946, so I am going to get SK-9. Thankyou both for all your help.
