For my next build I have chosen LionRoar 1/35 L3509 R75 motorcycle, which is gonna be a part of my train dio, I am currently working on. Nice, well undertaken kit with high details, a bit challenging as well. More pictures and details at my website, here is some small progress made last night. Many parts cleaned up, the wheels glued together.

Thanks for looking

Thank you, Mark. This kit is very well detailed, the only things I will add - some cables.
Continued with the frame, and more parts glued on. I have completed rear mudguard with the seat, also driver´s seat mounted on and parts on the tank. Most PE will be added when main building is finished, otherwise I´d breake them off again, some of them I will set even after painting.

Thank you, Pat, the parts are very tiny, but Lionroar´s quality. Work with them is going well, I use a few different glues, depending on the position and size of each part. They are too small to be soldered. I am back on my dio, because some plastics I had ordered longer time ago just arrived yesterday, so my updates here will be a bit slower.
Cheers

Nice build so far Libor. I have the side car version .... and the images here don´t do the finesse of the details justice ... they are so fine. Don´t know if Im looking forward to building it or not . Thanks for sharing.

Thank you, Frank, I am really enjoying this build. I have another one with side car, but that is Zündapp, also very nice thing.
Some more details and parts added today, I will probably start painting tomorrow.

Nice work here Libor! I got to get me one of these as I have this mental picture of a dio with this bike on the back of an Sdkfz 11 Late.

After a few busy days in my work, I got back here. Most PE glued on the body, I have added some wiring, 0,2mm lead wire used. In next step I will complete the front part of the bike and airbrush everything with surfacer again. Then all will be cleaned gently, because there are some spots to be improved, usually to remove the glue scraps - although the inaccuracies can be only spoted on zoomed images - and finally I will start painting.

I stuck on my dio today, so there is not much to show here, just the bike in one piece.

Hi Libor,

like your build. I updated Tamiya's R75 with eduard PE and when looking at your pictures you've been to the same 'tiny trouble' as you did. I especially like your spring underneath the seat. Was this one included in the kit? Or was it homemade?

Looking forward to the more of your progress.

Thank you, Alvaro and spaarndammer, for your nice comments. No major problems with the build, only glue marks on some spots, but its hard to avoid them because of the kit size. But like mentioned above, they are visible just if zoomed. The spring comes as a part of the kit, but this is common size to find around or make from wire. Spring for second seat is not included in the kit, but can be also easily made from wire. I have to say, this is something really special, tiny and crispy in details - very well done, Lionroar.

The bike painted in grey. Everything else will be done with hand brush. I still have to fill and sand small joint on the engine head.

Hi Libor,
what a great kit & your clean build will enhance your diorama nicely! Top job!
To finish your bike off, are you going to add some cables from the handlebar levers? as this would really make it stand out. I can send you some pictures of my own motorcycles builds to show you or check out my gallery.
regards

Hi Libor,

again you show us some nice results. I advice to use fish wire to use for cables. It is available in the right thickness and very flexible to use.

That looks nice! I like these fine details.

Yesterday I saw a boxart of "IBG Models BMW R12" and two young boys look fascinated at this machine.

greetings...

Thank you for your nice comments, guys.
Mark, any pictures are very welcome. By the way, you are very good in figures painting, that is pain for me
Thats good advice, spaarndammer, I have some here and I also use sometimes tiny Plactruct rods, I have a selection from 0,2mm thick by 0,1mm steps
Thanks Soeren, I have seen that too, looks very nice on art box, but how is the kit? We´ll see when someone will show it here. I have another bike with side car to go, and that is enough for now. I have to get time for building another very nice vehicle, what should arrive soon to me from China.
Cheers

If you scroll down the page on these links you'll get images of the sprues at any rate. Whilst okay, and to be fair bear in mind how much they are showing as purchase price, I don't think Lion Roar has too much to worry about. They are probably the best apart from very expensive resin versions, of 1/35 motorcycles currently on the market.

This one
and this one.

Thank you, Alan, for the information, they are cheap enough, and their quality stands with the price. There will be lot of cleaning and extra care needed for cutting parts off the sprues. Lion roar or their new subcompany are real master of details
Cheers
Libor
