Hi all,
as I start the painting stage of my BMP-2 in Afghanistan, I realized I've lost my book by Concord "The war in Afghanistan 1979-1989" that had some interesting pictures of Soviet armor.
If anyone had this book and could share some scans of BMPs that would be great.
I'm more specifically looking for camo schemes and stowage ideas.
TIA
Olivier

Hi, an an Osprey book, I found some photos and a drawing. I can not paste in the drawings here, because my account space is nearly full.
I could send the pics to an e-mail adress.
Perhaps, this helps!
greetings...

Hi Oliver,
take a look at this one:

Great pics of that campaign (and some good links, to).
I've got the A'stan book from Concord, to. Any special pics on your wishlist?

Thanks for the link Volker.
concerning the Concord book, I don't know exactly which picture may be interesting as I lost my copy of the book. In fact, I'm looking for reference pictures of camouflaged and operational BMPs. Just to have my model in situation.
TIA
Olivier
