Many Armorama members will be familiar with Claude Joachim’s ongoing diorama based on the Battle of Clervaux. Now Claude has published a book telling the story of how the first part of the gigantic dio was built.

Thank you Pat for putting it up so quick!
Thank you all for first reactions!
@Carlos, well, seeing it in a shop in Spain will certainly take longer, perhaps a Spanish online-shop can raise his hands and ask to be my reseller. But for a low 4 Euro i ship it all over Europe!
@Jean Bernard, thank you very much. Well, the first two preorders went through Paypal without paying shipping costs. Paypal is a bit complicated to setup regarding shipping costs for european resellers. I fixed it partly now, but need to get the option for shipment added in the check out process. I contacted them.
@Bob, thank you ,so i hope to write your name on an post-envelope soon
Off to the hobby room now, i have a dio to finish!

Hi Claude, I read the "shipping-cost" is 4 Euro in europe? That´s a good price!
I would prefer to buy the book via onlineshop in germany because its easier pay-methods.
Is the price the same via online-shop?
If not, I would pay to you using the standard "IBAN" and the other numbers of your bank.
greetings...

Hi Tom,
As shown on my website, the US reseller is
www.monroeperdu.com
You find it in the Announcements and in the "Special Purchases category"
If you all preorder it, Michael Bishop (the owner ) will have the time to order more with me to be sure that everyone get's his copy as soon as possible
Thank you and hope to see you around Lux perhaps another time
Claude

Hi Claude,
Is anyone in Australia handling the books? If not, would you prefer I order directly from you? Or should I contact LuckyModel?

Good morning Rudi,
thank you very much for your interest!
No i did not find any reseller in Australia yet. The package shipping price for a few kilogramms of books is so high that most of the margin on both sides is eaten up by postage.
Guys, i must be thankful for my reseller to stock the book locally.
I must leave it to the individual buyer to define locally and make his calculations acording to the total price incl. shipping and the shipping time.
If you check my webpage today you will see a picture with the arrival of the book, so it is in stock, plenty of them for everybody :-)
The quality is superbe and i am sure you will be pleased.
Every preorder will get out today!
Thanks everyone
Claude

Thanks Claude. That's not a bad price for ship[ping at all - a few years ago I paid almost 30 Euros in postage for 2x 54mm figures from Western Europe.

Today I received my book.
The part of the dio can be seen in a step-by-step build process including many tips and illustrated by high-resolution photos.
At first, there is a bit history about the castle with some rare photos, drawings and maps.
The next pages are "planning the scene" with base and shaping.
All parts/sections of the scene are shown in their build-process.
Next pages are big photos of details and overviews in high-res. photos.
Last but not least: the price is very good!
Thank you Claude, good work!
Highly recommend for all modelers and other interested!
