Do the JS-2 and JS-3 use the same style track?

I have found the following Fruil tracks.....

ATL-34 JS-3 Stalin (and JS-1 JS-2)
ATL54 JS-1, 2, 3 (light type)

What's the difference and which was more prevalent?

Thanks for the help....

The IS-2 usually used the split link track, which alternated a full link with a center guide tooth, with a split link without a tooth (two half links with a joint at the centerline where the guide tooth would ordinarily go). These tracks are included in the current Tamiya IS-2 kit and the orange box reissue of the Dragon kit. The split link design was discarded soon after the war, and the tracks reverted to full links only with a center guide on every link, and these would be most common on IS-3 Stalins as well as postwar IS-2's. The Tamiya IS-3 kit includes a slightly later track pattern, though the tank itself is in the 1945 configuration without the stowage boxes built into the panniers. The Trumpeter IS-3M has the early pattern track, though the tank is in the early 1960's configuration (easiest solution--swap tracks between the two kits). Alternatively, the original Dragon IS-2 and ISU122/152 releases had a set of full links, and they were quite nice, fitting almost as snugly as Magic Tracks.
