Just came across a company called Skif Model, they seem to be doing a lot of 1/35 Russian kits.

Anyone know much about them?

Alan, Skif is just fine, unless you are a super detail junkie. you can get some neat kits for a cheap price. I like the D-20 122mm towed howitzer. - 2 sprues and a p.e. set. use reference photos, directions aren't super clear. However this is a 2 week fun box for me. Just my opinion, not the gospel. - Bobby

SKIF is a company that has been around for a while, but they are either out of business, reworking thier business, or selling off their business. My contacts in the Ukraine do not know.

Their kits, for the early 2000's were the only game in town but much appreciated. THey have a lot of thick parts and some missing detail, and some, like their T-80UD are of prototype vehicles, but overall they are ok.

PE helps a LOT. There are also a number of conversion and update kits out on the market for some of their kits.

Their T-55 is really BADLY done, so stay away from it and the ARK reboxes of it.
