Gents,
Are there markings around for either the 12 Manitoba or the Canadian Dragoons in 1/35 scale produced by anyone besides what is in the Bronco kits?
TIA
Brad

Not that I know of Brad, though Ultracast and Archer have a selection of Cdn Armour markings.
FYI here is an old web page I made up with 1 Cdn Army AoS markings:

Thanks Sir. I am gathering 2-3 smaller vehicles and I am going to build a small vignette based on a group of Canadian vehicles and a small handfull of Dutch people chatting it up with a few Cdn soldiers in a Dutch town. I am leaning towards Leewarden, since my wife and I spent the Spring there. They had a very nice museum there and a seperate floor on WWII alone with a lot of photos of the town being liberated.
Cheers

Hey Brad,
Here's another site you'll find helpful:
Royal Canadian Armoured Corps Association
12th Manitoba Dragoons
Royal Canadian Dragoons
You may want to source your decals elsewhere.
The II Corps marking in Bronco's Staghound Mk. I, Mk. III and "Tulip" 60lb rocket versions have a modern Canadian Maple Leaf instead of the older style used during WW II.
Bronco Staghound Mk. I
PMMS Bronco Staghound Mk. I w/60lb rockets
Bronco Staghound Mk. III
You may want to get a set of Archer's Dry Transfers but on second look, they don't appear much too different:

I'm afraid you can't use those, as nice as Archer products usually are. The maple leaves are the modern shape and not at all like those from WW II. It's a pain as thise are really nice markings, otherwise.

Hey JJumbo,
I am looking at the Bronco Staghound marking page and I think I am confused. The instructions for the 12 Manitoba Dragoons call for decal 23 to be placed on each side of the turret, which is a black coloured rectangle with the number 181 inside. I thought that a square, triangle or diamond in black with white outline is suppose to go there?? I have the Camo and Markings of Canadian Armored Vehicles book and that's what appears to show.
Help please
Thanks
Brad

Hey Paul,
Yeah, it's a shame that they goofed and used the same style of maple leafs as in the kit decals, they look good.

Hey Brad,
You've got me there, I'm not up much on Canadian Armoured Car markings.
I don't have the first Bronco Staghound kit Staghound CB35001 and PMMS isn't any help PMMS Bronco CB35001 Staghound review
From what I can see, the 181 marking might be a Squadron marking peculiar to the 12th Manitoba Dragoons.
Sorry, maybe one of the other guys can help.
Cheers
