Hi guys, I've just finished this Sherman and it was weathered using Promodellers dark dirt, mud, sand and rust washes. It's the first time I've done the whole weathering with just these washes and wondered if you think it is effective. All criticisms and advice welcome.

Looks good, maybe more dirt and mud on tracks, etc.

Nice build and the weathering works. Two things would improve your model 1) very carefully drill out the barrels of the machine guns and 2) the packs hanging on the side and the turret look wrong. In reality In North West Europe tanks tended not to have stowage hanging on the side as it would be torn off going through hedges etc. Also packs have to hang on something - bars were welded to the turret side to hang stowage on you can see them on this one
Nice work on the crew too.

Great build, and I agree with Pat. My Centaur have the same problems with the backpacks....
I fix it moving all to the rear deck. Sadly, after the contest....

Hey there...

looks great... I really like your weathering on it..

the only thing I could suggest is to add lettering to your ammo can for the .50 cal.. I think that little touch really adds something to a build.
