Does anyone know where I can get the Royal detail sets or any other PE /Detail sets? Doesnt seem to be too many around.
Thanks much
Dave

the Royal Model stuff is great, I'm using it right now on my M-26. But indeed hard to get. Perhaps you can drop them an e-mail via their site and ask them who is the US importer..
The set for the chains is a challenge the way they tell you to build them, forget it, it does not work

Eduard do three sets ( interior, exterior, and one for the trailer). Well worth the extra effort.

David,
you can try and buy direct from the web page
The royal model set is a must have.
some parts in both the royal model and Eduard sets are duplicated but you
still need the royal model set if its an all out build .
I finished one back in 2003 and used both eduard and royal model sets for the dragon wagon .
If you want I can drop some old progress build images to you if you like.

Michael, that is one very tasty looking DW... I hope you have more pictures, because I want it for an On Display. better still, send progress photos, and write an entertaining piece with it, and it can be a feature.
Incidently, I choose the same markings for my current build, a commision for a repeat DW customer. This one is with a Panther on the trailer, both basicaly straight from the box (he's not a modeller, and not . I also did one with a LCT on the trailer, I used the Eduard sets on that one. The first one I did for him, with a Sherman being winched onto the trailer, got stolen from his home.
curent build, very much 'in progress'....

Thanks Henk
I'll get something together .
Thats a nice build so far .
Tamiya did an outstanding job producing this vehicle in 35th scale.

Beautiful stuff guys! I really do want to make this model something special. Its a great subject and very visually appealing even to non-modelers. Also my wife got me this kit years ago and is expecting something!
Ive been mostly doing Axis Armor...I really need to dive into Allied subjects for a while. I even have a Tamiya 1/16 Sherman original issue RC tank still in the box untouched and a new one on the way. Thats going to be a super detail all winter project. I will get pics of that up.
